ZANZIBAR

I was the first to arrive in Zanzibar, followed by the rest of the group, and we were greeted with an incredible welcome filled with songs and cheers. We kicked off our trip by exploring the charming streets of Stone Town, discovering its historic sites, and then enjoyed a delicious lunch at a rooftop restaurant that offered breathtaking views of the city. As we continued to wander through the city, we soaked up the vibrant atmosphere.

At night, we indulged in more mouthwatering local cuisine and spent quality time getting to know each other. The evening was topped off with some late-night fun in the pool. The next morning, we began our day with a scenic boat ride, marveling at the views in the middle of the sea and even had a mini photo session atop the boat.

Our first stop was the famous Prison Island, where we encountered massive turtles that we could feed, along with small gazelles and other fascinating animals. After exploring the island, we refreshed ourselves with drinks and savored some delicious seafood. The day ended with a swim until sunset, after which we returned to our hotel, donned our glam outfits, and explored the vibrant nightlife of Zanzibar. We played games and charades, and later, we found a place with cool music where we danced the night away.

The next day, we had a late start, having stayed up late the previous night, but it was well worth it. We toured a spice farm, where we were treated to beautiful flowers and a sensory experience with various spices. Afterward, we indulged in more local food and went shopping for souvenirs.

On the fourth day, we bid farewell to Stone Town and ventured into the woods for an adventure where we spotted numerous monkeys. The hosts organized a small party in the middle of the woods, where we danced a bit, drank refreshing coconuts, and tried star fruits for the first time. We then headed to our resort in Jambiani for some relaxation and enjoyed some chill time in the water for the rest of the day.

The following day, we swam with friendly sea turtles, feeding them and then visited one of the natural caves in the area. Our last day was spent snorkeling and saying goodbye to the mesmerizing island of Zanzibar. It was an unforgettable journey filled with adventure, relaxation, and the beauty of the island.
